Pony Party Agreement

On this paper you will find detailed information in regards to your pony party.  Please review this carefully and sign and date at the bottom.  You will mail this form back to us with your registration form and your deposit.  Feel free to print a second copy for your records.

Included with your pony party is

    - 1 32 cut square pizza from mama pepinos out of west newton.   If you want to order additional pizza for the kids or any adults staying you can order the pizzas yourself or I am happy to order with the one we provide.  Party parent will be responsible for the cost of any extra pizza.   You are also welcome to bring any food or drinks you like from home, alcohol/ beer is allowed.  We have a refrigerator/freezer and microwave in party room.  

    - 1 Bag of Nacho cheese chips,   we reserve the right to substitute if needed based on availability

    - 2 2L of soda.  We try to offer 1-cola and 1 7up however we reserve the right to substitute if needed based on availability

    - up to 15 plates and cups as well as table cloths.  If you have over 15 kids we do provide supplies for those kids at the rate of $3.00 per child.  All children over 1 will be counted in final head count.  We do make every attempt to use gender neutral horse themed party wear.   We reserve the right to substitute if needed based on availability.    We do not provide silver wear or any supplies for adults who may stay.  You would want to bring those if you want to have them.  We do not have extra cake plates, most party families reuse the pizza plate for cake. If you want a separate plate for cake you would want bring those.  

    - We do keep extra plates and cups as well as plastic silver wear if you run short on what you bring, however we cannot guarantee this.  It is something we try to offer as a back up when we can.

    - We make every effort to have a cake cutter, candles, lighters and ice-cream scoop available however we recommend you bring what you may need for cake or ice cram.  We have had party families walk off with our supplies so we can not guarantee they will be available.

    - We do NOT provide cake or cupcakes.  If you want these and ice cream you would want to bring them.    Freezer is available.

    - prizes for all games played.  We do not give out party favors to all guests, if you would like treat bags you would want to provide them. 

    - We do hang some birthday/ horse banners and blow up balloons.  You are welcome to decorate as well however we ask that anything you hang or tape be hung using blue painters tape. 

    - You are able to arrive 30 minutes before your party time to set up with anything you bring and settle in.  We do ask that you make every attempt to arrive 15 minutes before to settle up on your balance and be here to great your guests as they arrive.  We understand things come up and we are happy to welcome guests if you get held up. 

    - Our horses/ponies are well trained and we will be leading the horse at all times.  Horses/ ponies will have weight limits.  We pick the horse/ pony based on the best suited horse/ pony for the party guests ages and sizes.  Adults are only permitted to ride if they are under the weight limit for the horse/ pony being used. 

Below is our equine release and hold harmless agreement.  While we absolutely provide the best well trained horses/ponies that we can, we do make note that these are animals and while we have a hold of them at all times we can not guarantee they will not spook or react in a manner which may cause injury or scare someone.  We do keep first aid supplies on premises and if needed please ask a sun hill employee.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

BY SIGNING THIS AGREEMENT YOU ARE GIVING UP CERTAIN LEGAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING THE RIGHT TO RECOVER DAMAGES IN CASE OF INJURY, DEATH, OR PROPERTY DAMAGE, ARISING OUT OF YOUR RIDING OR USE OF THE OWNER’S HORSE AND/OR PARTICIPATION IN EQUINE ACTIVITIES AT SUN HILL QUARTER HORSES, LLC, INCLUDING INJURY, DEATH, OR PROPERTY DAMAGE ARISING OUT OF THE NEGLIGENCE OF YOU OR SUN HILL QUARTER HORSES, LLC. 

YOU ARE ASSUMING ALL RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE PEOPLE WHO ARE ATTENDING YOUR PARTY, 

READ THIS AGREEMENT CAREFULLY BEFORE SIGNING IT. YOUR SIGNATURE INDICATES YOUR UNDERSTANDING OF AND AGREEMENT TO ITS TERMS.

By signing this form, I hereby acknowledge that I have familiarized myself with the activities that my party will be allowed to participate in, and that I do hereby acknowledge and agree that I recognize the inherent risks involved with being around horses, including but not limited to:

1. Bites, kicks, abrasions or contusions from horses.

2. Being thrown or bucked off by horses.

3. Scratches or other injury from stalls or enclosures.

4. Scratches or other injury from grooming tools and other equine equipment and tack.

5. Allergic reactions to animals, hay, or other allergens.

6. Tripping in holes or on materials or equipment.

7. Slipping, falling, or otherwise being injured in the barn, in stalls, or on the grounds, which can be slippery, muddy, wet, or contain or present other hazards

If my party is held and participates in the activities of Sun Hill Quarter Horses, LLC  we do so at our own  risk, and I hereby acknowledge and agree that Sun Hill Quarter Horses and/or any of its owners, agents, and/or employees shall bear no responsibility or risk associated with injuries that could arise from myself or my guests presence or participation at Sun Hill Quarter Horses, LLC.  I will assume all responsibility for every guest who attends my party.

Please contact Kelli 5 days before your party with an approximate headcount of children attending so we can set up tables and chairs for the kids.  We do not need to know how many adults are staying, just the kids who we are providing supplies for.   There is no limit on adults who can stay.  The party room is open and accessible at all times during your party and adults are free to roam through the barn and outside as they like.   All children must be accompanied and under the direct supervision of an adult at all times when outside of the party room.
